Fabrics and standards that matter
Hi-vis garments use fluorescent polyester — knit or breathable mesh — with retro-reflective tape, and are certified to EN ISO 20471 Class 1, 2 or 3 depending on the area of fluorescent and reflective material. Work trousers are almost always woven twill, 60/40 cotton-poly for comfort and durability, in 240–300 GSM. Jackets use water-repellent shells with taped seams and fleece or quilted liners. Ask for OEKO-TEX certification on fabrics — it's the baseline for European buyers.
The OEM process
- Tech pack. Style, fabric, weight, colour, trims (zips, tape, labels), sizing and grading, branding, packaging.
- Fabric and trim sourcing. Confirmed and swatched before sampling.
- Sample. A sewn sample in 2–3 weeks. Check fit, construction and reflective tape placement.
- Fit approval. Sign off the sealed sample and size set in writing.
- Bulk. 30–45 days, with mid-production inspection available.
- QC and shipping. Every batch checked against the sealed sample. FOB Karachi, CIF or DDP.
Branding and private label
Woven or printed main labels, care labels and size labels. Logo by embroidery, screen print or heat transfer on chest, back or sleeve. Custom colourways. Hang tags, polybags and cartons with your barcodes. Everything ships under your brand — the manufacturer's name appears nowhere.
