Hi-vis is one of the most specified categories in workwear — and one of the easiest to get wrong. Colour that fades out of spec after a few washes, reflective tape that cracks, a vest that's sold as Class 2 but doesn't have enough fluorescent area. SAS Agencies has made hi-vis garments in Faisalabad for European, UK and Australian buyers for years, and we build every style to the standard of the market it ships to.

Hi-vis fabrics and colours
| Fabric | Used for | Colours |
|---|---|---|
| 100% polyester knitted fleece, 280 gsm | Hoodies, zip jackets, sweatshirts | Fluorescent yellow (lime), fluorescent orange |
| 75% polyester / 25% cotton fleece | Hoodies, zip jackets | Fluorescent yellow (lime), fluorescent orange |
| 50% cotton / 50% polyester pique | Polos | Fluorescent yellow (lime), fluorescent orange |
| Polyester knit and breathable mesh | Vests (executive, zip, security, economy) | Yellow, orange, two-tone with navy or royal |
Our fluorescent fabric is certified to EN ISO 20471:2013 (Europe and UK) and AS/NZS 1906.4 (Australia and New Zealand). The 100% polyester fleece holds its colour inside the hi-vis range after repeated washing and UV exposure — the thing hi-vis buyers worry about most.
EN ISO 20471 classes explained
EN ISO 20471 is the standard for high-visibility clothing sold in Europe and the UK. The class is set by the minimum area of fluorescent background and retro-reflective material on the finished garment:
| Class | Fluorescent background | Reflective tape | Typical garment |
|---|---|---|---|
| Class 1 | 0.14 m² | 0.10 m² | Tees, light-duty tops |
| Class 2 | 0.50 m² | 0.13 m² | Vests, polos, hoodies |
| Class 3 | 0.80 m² | 0.20 m² | Long-sleeve jackets, coveralls, vest + trouser sets |
Because the class depends on the design, tell us the class you need and we'll pattern the garment to meet it, including size range — smaller sizes are where class is most often lost.
Hi-vis for Australia: AS/NZS 1906.4 and 4602.1
Australia and New Zealand use their own standards. AS/NZS 1906.4 covers the fluorescent and retro-reflective materials; AS/NZS 4602.1 covers the garment, in Day (D), Night (N) and Day/Night (D/N) classes. We use AS/NZS 1906.4 certified fabric and build to D/N layouts with the tape configuration Australian buyers expect. More on our Australian buyer page.
Private label and branding
Woven or printed neck labels, care and size labels, logo by embroidery, screen print or heat transfer (placed so it doesn't eat into the fluorescent area your class needs). Two-tone colourways, custom tape, hang tags, polybags and cartons with your barcodes. Our name appears nowhere.

Frequently asked questions
Is your hi-vis fabric certified to EN ISO 20471?
Yes. Our fluorescent fabric in yellow (lime) and orange is certified to EN ISO 20471:2013 for Europe and the UK, and to AS/NZS 1906.4 for Australia and New Zealand. Certificates are shared with buyers on request.
What hi-vis fabrics can you make garments in?
75% polyester / 25% cotton fleece, 100% polyester knitted fleece at 280 gsm, 50/50 cotton-poly pique for polos, polyester knit and breathable mesh for vests. All in fluorescent yellow (lime) or fluorescent orange, with two-tone contrast panels on request.
Which EN ISO 20471 class can you make?
Class 1, 2 or 3. The class depends on the area of fluorescent and reflective material in the finished design, so we build the pattern to the class you need — a vest is typically Class 2, a long-sleeve jacket can reach Class 3.
Can you make hi-vis for the Australian market?
Yes. We use fabric certified to AS/NZS 1906.4 and build garments to AS/NZS 4602.1 Day (D), Night (N) or Day/Night (D/N) classes, with reflective tape placement to suit.
What is the MOQ for hi-vis workwear?
From 300 pieces per style, mixed sizes accepted. Samples in 2–3 weeks, bulk in 30–45 days, FOB Karachi, CIF or DDP.
