For buyers in United Kingdom

Work gloves & workwear supplier for UK buyers

OEM and private-label gloves and workwear for UK safety distributors, merchants and workwear brands — made to UK standards, shipped to UK ports, invoiced in GBP or USD.

If you supply the UK trade, construction, utilities or logistics sectors, you need a manufacturer that already understands the UK market: UKCA and CE marking, EN standards, British sizing, and delivery into UK ports without drama. SAS Agencies has manufactured work gloves and workwear for UK buyers since the 1980s — under their brands, not ours. Here's how we work with UK customers.

Compliance for the UK market

Since the UK left the EU, PPE sold in Great Britain needs UKCA marking (CE is still accepted in Northern Ireland and, under the extended recognition, for many products in Great Britain — confirm current rules for your category). We manufacture to the same harmonised standards either way:

ProductUK standardWhat it covers
Gloves — mechanicalEN 388:2016 (BS EN 388)Abrasion, cut, tear, puncture, impact
Gloves — heat / weldingEN 407, EN 12477Contact heat, flame; welding Type A/B
Hi-vis workwearEN ISO 20471 (BS EN ISO 20471)Class 1, 2 or 3
Cold-weather glovesEN 511Convective and contact cold

We supply test reports per style from named labs, and can arrange approved-body certification for UKCA on your private-label products. Ask for the certificate, not the logo — that applies to us too.

Shipping to the UK

Standard route is sea freight from Karachi to Felixstowe, Southampton or London Gateway, roughly 25–35 days on the water. We ship FOB Karachi by default, or CIF / DDP to your UK warehouse if you'd rather we handle freight, insurance and import clearance. Documentation — commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin, bill of lading and test reports — is prepared in-house. Consolidated LCL for smaller first orders is routine.

Why buyers work with a Pakistani OEM

Pakistan — and Faisalabad in particular — has made leather and textile gloves and workwear for decades. That means genuine leather expertise across buffalo, cow split, goatskin and sheep grain, deep knitting and stitching capacity, and factories that have exported to demanding Western buyers for a generation. Pricing is competitive with the Far East, and a vertically integrated factory keeps quality and lead times under one roof. The variable is the factory, not the country — which is why the checklist in our guide to choosing a gloves manufacturer in Pakistan matters.

Working with SAS Agencies from the UK

Our directors work UK hours overlap (we're GMT+5, so your morning is our early afternoon), reply inside 48 hours, and have handled UK private-label programmes for over twenty years. Send a spec, a tech pack or a reference glove and we'll come back with a quote, a compliance note and a sample. NDA by default — we never sell your design to anyone else.

Frequently asked questions

Yes. We manufacture to the harmonised EN standards and can arrange approved-body certification for UKCA marking on your private-label products, with test reports per style.

Which UK ports do you ship to?

Felixstowe, Southampton and London Gateway are the usual routes from Karachi. We can also ship DDP direct to your UK warehouse if you prefer us to handle freight and clearance.

How long does a first order take to reach the UK?

Roughly three months from approved spec: 2–3 weeks for samples, 30–45 days for bulk, then 25–35 days sea freight. Air freight is available for urgent smaller runs.
