European safety distributors and workwear brands have sourced from SAS Agencies for over three decades, and Europe remains our biggest market by volume. We know the paperwork — CE Category II, the PPE Regulation (EU) 2016/425, REACH, declarations of conformity — and we know the ports. Here's how we work with European customers.
Compliance for the EU market
PPE placed on the EU market must carry CE marking under Regulation (EU) 2016/425, with an EU declaration of conformity and, for Category II products like most work gloves, an EU type-examination certificate from a notified body. We manufacture to the harmonised standards and support your certification:
| Product | EU standard | What it covers |
|---|---|---|
| Gloves — mechanical | EN 388:2016 | Abrasion, cut (Coupe and ISO), tear, puncture, impact |
| Gloves — heat / welding | EN 407, EN 12477 | Contact heat, flame; welding Type A/B |
| Hi-vis workwear | EN ISO 20471 | Class 1, 2 or 3 |
| Cold-weather gloves | EN 511 | Convective and contact cold |
| Chemicals in materials | REACH, OEKO-TEX Standard 100 | Restricted substances; our knitted lines are OEKO-TEX certified |
Test reports are supplied per style from named labs. For private-label programmes we can run type-examination with a notified body under your brand.

Why buyers work with a Pakistani OEM
Pakistan — and Faisalabad in particular — has made leather and textile gloves and workwear for decades. That means genuine leather expertise across buffalo, cow split, goatskin and sheep grain, deep knitting and stitching capacity, and factories that have exported to demanding Western buyers for a generation. Pricing is competitive with the Far East, and a vertically integrated factory keeps quality and lead times under one roof. The variable is the factory, not the country — which is why the checklist in our guide to choosing a gloves manufacturer in Pakistan matters.
Working with SAS Agencies from Europe
We're GMT+5 — your morning is our afternoon, so same-day replies are normal. Our directors have run European private-label programmes for over twenty years and speak the language of tech packs, AQL and declarations of conformity. Send a spec or a reference product and you'll get a quote, a compliance note and a sample. NDA by default.
