Canada is one of our four core export markets, and it has its own rules: ANSI/ISEA ratings rather than EN, CSA Z96 for high-visibility apparel, and a climate that makes lined and insulated gloves a year-round line rather than a seasonal one. SAS Agencies has manufactured for Canadian safety distributors and workwear brands since the 1980s. Here's how we work with Canadian customers.
Compliance for the Canadian market
| Product | Canadian standard | What it covers |
|---|---|---|
| Gloves — cut / abrasion / puncture | ANSI/ISEA 105 | Cut levels A1–A9; also EN 388 on request |
| Gloves — impact | ANSI/ISEA 138 | Impact Levels 1–3 |
| Hi-vis apparel | CSA Z96 | Class 1, 2 or 3; often dual-marked with ANSI/ISEA 107 |
| Winter gloves | EN 511 / insulation spec | Thinsulate grammage, waterproof membranes |
| Materials | OEKO-TEX Standard 100 | Harmful-substance testing on knitted lines |
We manufacture to ANSI/ISEA and CSA requirements, supply test reports per style, and can dual-mark products (ANSI + EN) for buyers who sell into both North America and Europe.

Why buyers work with a Pakistani OEM
Pakistan — and Faisalabad in particular — has made leather and textile gloves and workwear for decades. That means genuine leather expertise across buffalo, cow split, goatskin and sheep grain, deep knitting and stitching capacity, and factories that have exported to demanding Western buyers for a generation. Pricing is competitive with the Far East, and a vertically integrated factory keeps quality and lead times under one roof. The variable is the factory, not the country — which is why the checklist in our guide to choosing a gloves manufacturer in Pakistan matters.
Working with SAS Agencies from Canada
The time difference (we're GMT+5, 9–10 hours ahead of Eastern) means you'll usually have our reply waiting when you start your day. Our directors have handled Canadian private-label programmes for over twenty years. Send a spec, tech pack or reference glove — we'll return a quote, a compliance note and a sample. NDA by default.
